Waiter
The Opportunity
This hiring manager is after four waitstaff who already know how a busy floor works. The venue is a popular modern Asian restaurant in central Christchurch, complete with an aquarium, and it values staff who sell the menu well and let their character come through.
To stand out, match your application to the duties: mention table service, POS use, cash handling and any work under liquor licensing rules. Recruiters will check that you have six months in a similar role or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma, so put that near the top.
The job is permanent and full-time, at least 30 hours weekly, including nights, weekends and the summer rush. The restaurant is an approved accredited employer and can help with sponsorship through the immigration process if required.
