Waitstaff and Bar Staff

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Waiter Supervisor to join a growing hospitality and food service operation in the Northern Territory. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service, food presentation, team leadership, and maintaining high operational standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising daily food service operations, supporting staff development, ensuring food safety compliance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Report to the Manager on Duty or business owner regarding daily operations
• Supervise, support, and train junior team members in food service standards and food safety procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with food selections and product enquiries
• Prepare, present, and serve food items in accordance with business standards
• Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves, displays, and refrigerated products are properly stocked and rotated
• Remove expired products and maintain product quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout food preparation, display, and customer service areas
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and workplace procedures
• Maintain current knowledge of products, menu items, and promotional activities
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the retail food outlet
• Support smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a positive team environment

• Minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality or food service experience gained overseas, or a minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in Australia
• Previous experience in customer service, food service, hospitality, or retail food environments
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to supervise and guide team members effectively
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 10 kilograms
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering excellent service
