The opportunity

Few employers hand over a kitchen's identity, yet this respected and growing hospitality group is doing exactly that. At its waterfront restaurant of around 80 seats the cooking is flavour-led modern Australian, plated small or for sharing and prepared in-house with local produce, and it wants a Head Chef to make that kitchen their own.

From a recruiter's view, the employer is looking for a leader who can shape menus with the owner, develop a team and keep service calm from the pass. The role is full-time on a 38-hour week. Seasoned head chefs and senior sous chefs aiming at a first head chef job are equally welcome, and visa sponsorship is open for discussion for the right person.
