Wood Floor Installer

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Wood Floor Installer / Floor Finisher to join a growing flooring specialist delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects throughout the Auckland region.

The successful candidate will work on premium timber flooring installations, including solid wood and engineered flooring systems, while maintaining exceptional workmanship and customer service standards. AEWV sponsorship is available for suitable candidates.

• Measure, plan, and prepare subfloor surfaces for flooring installations
• Install solid timber and engineered wood flooring systems
• Cut, shape, fit, and secure flooring materials to required specifications
• Complete finishing work including sealing, coating, and trim installation
• Operate flooring tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organised worksite
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and site managers
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience installing solid wood and engineered timber flooring
• Strong knowledge of floor preparation and installation techniques
• Proficiency in the use of flooring tools, machinery, and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills in English
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's licence preferred
