Accountant
The Opportunity
From a recruiter's chair, this Wollongong Accountant brief is clear. The hiring team wants around 2 to 3 years in Australian public practice and someone already comfortable preparing statements and returns across a mixed client book.
You would sit in the collaborative accounting team of a business that also offers tax, lending and financial advice. A Senior Accountant reviews and supports your work, and you take on more direct client contact as you grow. Mentoring, CPA or CA development support and a path to Senior Accountant and Client Manager are part of the picture.
Sponsorship may be considered for this role, subject to experience, role suitability and visa eligibility. To stand out, show matching experience up front: the BAS you have prepared, the entity mix you handled and how you kept on top of lodgement deadlines.
