The Opportunity

A busy and modern grooming salon in the Northern Territory is seeking an experienced Barber or Hairdresser to join its growing team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for skilled professionals with experience in men’s grooming, fades, scissor work, beard trims, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of barbering and hairdressing services
  • Perform men’s haircuts including fades, classic cuts, and scissor styling
  • Carry out beard trims and shaving services
  • Consult clients regarding hairstyles, grooming, and hair care products
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards
  • Manage appointments and client bookings
  • Assist with shop upkeep and inventory management
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barber or Hairdresser
  • Strong scissor cutting skills are essential
  • Good knowledge of men’s hairstyles, fades, and grooming techniques
  • Certificate III in Barbering/Hairdressing or equivalent preferred
  • Straight razor experience is advantageous
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
