The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Boilermaker to join a growing engineering and metal fabrication company in the Northern Territory. This role involves workshop and site-based fabrication, maintenance, repairs, and installation work across a variety of heavy industrial and structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities

Repair and maintain heavy equipment including crushing equipment, excavators, loaders, and transport equipment
Perform welding, fabrication, and structural steel repairs
Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components
Carry out workshop and onsite maintenance activities
Perform preventative maintenance inspections
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards
Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Work independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects

Requirements & Eligibility

Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent industry experience
Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong fabrication, repair, and maintenance skills
Own basic hand tools
Current driver's licence
Reliable, physically fit, and capable of working in varied environments
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to workplace health and safety
