The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and merchandising meat products while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. You will work as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for long-term career growth.

• Prepare and cut a variety of meat products to retail standards
• Trim, portion, and package meat for display and sale
• Wrap and label meat products accurately
• Assist with stock ordering and inventory management
• Prepare and maintain attractive meat displays
• Monitor product quality and freshness
• Maintain and clean display cabinets and equipment
• Clean and sanitise meat preparation areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service and product advice
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high quality standards

• Relevant qualification or demonstrated experience as a Butcher
• Previous experience in a retail supermarket or butcher shop environment
• Strong knife handling and meat preparation skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
