The opportunity
Recruiters screening for this Canberra Restaurant Manager vacancy will be asking one question before any other. Can this person run an entire events-led venue on their own authority, from a quiet high tea service to a full wedding night?
The venue is a well-known name locally for weddings, corporate events and high tea, and it sits within an established hospitality and events group operating in Sydney and Canberra. The roster is built around nights and weekends, and sponsorship is available.
To stand out, match your application to the duties. Show where you have set rosters and trained a front-of-house team, how you worked alongside a General Manager, an events team and a kitchen, and where you lifted revenue while keeping costs and WHS and RSA compliance tight.
A recruiter usually decides within the first page of your CV, so lead with the premium venues you managed and the events you owned. Shape a recruiter-friendly hospitality manager CV with Build AI CV and tailor it to this listing.
