Caregiver

The role is permanent and full-time, at least 30 hours a week, and the hourly rate runs $23.95 at Level 1, $24.06 at Level 2, $26.16 at Level 3 and $28.25 at Level 4 or higher.

• Personal care with showering and dressing
• Support at mealtimes
• Help with mobility and communication, always holistic and culturally safe
• Input to care planning and following therapy plans for residents with dementia
• Observing and reporting on progress, flagging changes in condition or care concerns promptly
• Accurate, appropriate, current record keeping
• Assisting registered nurses within their scope of practice
