The Opportunity
This Christchurch employer, a dementia care specialist, wants a Caregiver who brings warmth and reliability to a full-time permanent post of at least 30 hours a week. Shifts fall across a 24/7 roster, so flexibility matters as much as experience.
Pay is $23.95 per hour at Level 1 and climbs to $28.25 per hour at Level 4 and above. The team is close-knit, and the provider has a name for mentoring and developing its people.

Key Responsibilities
- Holistic, culturally safe personal care covering showering, dressing, eating, mobility and communication
- Input into care plans, plus carrying out therapy plans for people with dementia
- Observing and reporting on residents' progress, telling the team promptly about changes or concerns, and keeping records accurate and current
- Assisting registered nurses while working within your scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- A sincere drive to make life better for older people through kindness and empathy
- Passion for working in aged care
- Ability to cover any shift across the 24/7 roster
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Experience in dementia care is a strong advantage
- For visa support you will need a Registered Nursing degree, or a Level 4+ caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
