Chef de Partie / Commis Chef
The Opportunity
What this Perth employer is after comes through clearly in the brief. An award-winning modern Asian restaurant is hiring a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef who already has solid time in a fast, high-volume kitchen and can cook big, bold, balanced dishes the same way every time.
The context matters for how you pitch yourself. Lunch and dinner run every day of the week, covers top 1,000 a week, and one shared kitchen feeds several venues in the precinct. Candidates who show they can move between sections and stay composed under volume will stand out, as will anyone keen to learn from senior chefs who want to develop future leaders. Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.
