The opportunity
This employer knows exactly who it wants. A French bistrot and wine bar in a seaside town in the greater Melbourne area is after a Chef de Partie who can own a section and work hand in hand with the Head Chef. The food is grounded in old-school French technique and quality local ingredients, plated generously and executed with care, by a small team that gets on well.
Candidates who stand out will show genuine section experience under pressure, proof of French cooking in their history and a calm, team-first manner. The role is full-time with flexibility on contract arrangements, and the employer notes potential sponsorship for the right applicant after 18 months in the role, subject to eligibility and applicable immigration requirements.
