The Opportunity

Recruiters screening for this full-time Community Support Worker vacancy in Sydney will be looking for three things: a community services qualification, hands-on experience with vulnerable clients, and the organisation to manage referrals and paperwork without letting either slip. The service is growing and supports people at home and in the community.

To stand out, match your application to the duties. Show where you have assessed needs and built support plans, name the agencies you have referred people to, and give an example of a funding submission or progress report you helped write. Experience with older people, people with disabilities or young people will carry weight.

Two conditions apply. The vacancy is limited to candidates who are already in Australia, and the employer notes that sponsorship may be available under subclass 407, 482, 494 or 186 for suitably qualified, eligible people, subject to its approval, the visa requirements, occupation eligibility and individual circumstances.

Lead your CV with your Diploma of Community Services or Bachelor's degree, then the client groups and caseloads you have handled. Use Build AI CV to shape a community support CV for this role.
