The opportunity
If you have helped someone with disability build a skill, manage at home or get out into the community, this casual Support Worker role in Kalgoorlie, WA deserves a close look.
The hiring organisation is a community disability service in regional Western Australia. It wants staff who work in a person-centred way, following each individual's plan, running activities and outings, helping at home with domestic tasks and personal care, and encouraging people to choose for themselves.
From a recruiter's point of view, the strongest applications show three things quickly. The essential checks and licence are current, you understand physical and intellectual disability, and you stay organised and calm when a shift gets busy. A sponsorship opportunity is available to the right candidates, which makes a well-matched application even more important.
