Duty Manager

The opportunity

From a recruiter's point of view, this Duty Manager brief is very specific. The hotel, a well-known name on the Western Australian coast near Bunbury, wants a leader who has already managed a restaurant, not someone stepping up for the first time, and who stays calm when the venue is full.

Read the duties closely. They mix floor leadership with real commercial work: stock, rosters, cash, cost of goods and payroll. Candidates who stand out will show both sides, with examples of service they led and costs they controlled. Have your RSA and any food safety or MLP1 certificates ready to send. The job is full-time and permanent, needs evening, weekend, school holiday and public holiday availability, and sponsorship is considered for the right candidate.

Tailor your CV to the duties list in order, putting your restaurant management years and figures first. Then create a job-ready CV in minutes and send it in English.
