Key Responsibilities
- Working to an RN's supervision, assess patients, then plan and implement their nursing care
- Administer medications, track treatment responses and maintain clinical documentation that is accurate
- Assist with coordinating patient care and with evaluating it
- Take part in health promotion and health education activities
- Provide hands-on patient care, including assistance with personal hygiene, and support RNs in patient assessments and clinical procedures
- Comply with Work Health and Safety legislation, keep infection control standards in place and report hazards and incidents promptly
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration (current) and a relevant nursing qualification for an Enrolled Nurse
- Home care and community nursing experience
- At a minimum, one year's full-time relevant experience
- A current National Criminal History Check, a current Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- A current Manual Handling Certificate and an Infection Control certificate
- A valid driver's licence
- Current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
