The Opportunity

This Auckland hiring brief is for a Field Service Engineer Technician who is comfortable owning a job from installation through to repair. The client is a growing technology company whose customers run manufacturing, food and beverage, packaging and automation lines, and most of its installed equipment is coding, marking, laser and labelling technology.

The employer is after sole-charge installations, software integration, fault-finding and customer training, plus help desk support for clients and fellow technicians. The territory covers New Zealand and Pacific Island territories such as Fiji, Samoa and Tahiti, so regular travel is expected.

The company is an Accredited Employer with Immigration New Zealand and can sponsor workers through the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV); for this vacancy, though, candidates need to be already in New Zealand and hold immigration credentials to live and work here.

To stand out, tailor your CV to the listed duties: name the types of coding and marking equipment you have integrated, the acceptance tests you have run and how you reduced downtime for customers. Tailor a coding and labelling technician CV with Build AI CV.
