A leading Australian metal fabrication business is seeking a qualified Metal Fabricator, Boilermaker, or Welder to join their growing team in South Australia. This opportunity is ideal for skilled tradespeople who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality fabrication solutions beyond repetitive production work.

The role offers a mix of workshop fabrication and on-site installation projects across different industries, allowing you to apply your trade skills across a wide range of challenging and rewarding tasks. Employer sponsorship is available for the right overseas candidate who meets the required trade qualifications, experience, and skill standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricating and welding custom metal components and structures
Working with steel, aluminium, and stainless-steel materials
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications
Operating workshop machinery, tools, and fabrication equipment
Completing welding and fabrication tasks to high-quality standards
Carrying out site installation and field work when required
Supporting project delivery from fabrication through to installation
Identifying practical solutions and contributing ideas during projects
Working collaboratively with team members and clients
Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient work environment
Following workplace safety procedures and quality standards

Requirements & Eligibility

Trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding, or a related field
Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience working with different metals and fabrication techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and practical mindset
Positive attitude with a reliable and safety-focused approach
Willingness to undertake workshop and occasional site-based work
