Panel Beater

A well-established New Zealand collision repair business is seeking experienced Panel Beaters / Repair Technicians to join its growing workshop team in the Otago region.

• Carry out professional vehicle repairs to high quality standards
• Read and interpret job sheets and repair instructions
• Perform trial fitting and checking of parts before repairs
• Repair vehicles within allocated target hours
• Ensure all repair work meets quality and safety standards
• Label, organise, and store removed parts correctly
• Coordinate repair completion before vehicles move to paint department
• Complete final alignments, adjustments, and quality checks
• Work independently and collaboratively within the workshop team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

• Trade qualification equivalent to Level 3 or 4 OR minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Experience working as a Panel Beater or Collision Repair Technician
• Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment
• Full clean driver’s licence
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Ability to complete repairs to a high professional standard
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
• Physically capable of carrying out repair duties
• Valid New Zealand work rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
