The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading sports and entertainment consulting organisation. Working across integrated marketing, sponsorship, events, content, and fan engagement projects, you will play a key role in managing campaigns from concept through to execution.

This position is ideal for a proactive professional with agency, sponsorship, media, or marketing experience who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering high-quality projects, and creating impactful fan-focused experiences. You will collaborate with creative, strategy, events, and production teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully while contributing to business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage integrated marketing and sponsorship projects from briefing through to delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, stakeholders, and agencies
  • Coordinate campaign planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting activities
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, scopes, resources, and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate content production, promotional activations, events, and ambassador programs
  • Work closely with creative, strategy, sponsorship, and events teams to deliver campaign objectives
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, contractual obligations, legal requirements, and internal processes
  • Support creative development and contribute ideas for fan engagement initiatives
  • Assist with business development activities, presentations, credentials, and proposal preparation
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and vocational placement students
  • Contribute to case studies, marketing content, and organisational promotion activities
  • Promote sustainable practices and environmentally responsible event solutions

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in account management, sponsorship, advertising, marketing, or a related field
  • Previous agency experience highly regarded
  • Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns within sport, entertainment, media, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of sponsorship and partnership marketing environments
  • Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong project management, organisational, and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, project management platforms, and related business tools
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, production processes, and external suppliers
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of audience engagement and consumer behaviour
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, marketing, and delivering exceptional client outcomes
