Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Residential Carpenter to join a growing construction company delivering high-quality new-build residential projects across the Auckland Region. This full-time position offers stable long-term employment, competitive pay, career development opportunities.

The successful applicant will work on a variety of residential construction projects, collaborating with an experienced team while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality.

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Measure, cut, assemble and install timber structures
• Construct wall frames, roof frames and flooring systems
• Install doors, windows, cladding, weatherboards and exterior finishes
• Complete interior finishing including skirting, architraves and trims
• Carry out structural carpentry and formwork tasks
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with New Zealand Building Code and Health & Safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines

• Minimum 2 years of proven residential carpentry experience
• Experience working on residential new-build construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and industry best practices
• Competent in the safe use of hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• A full New Zealand driver licence or the ability to obtain one is advantageous
• Own basic carpentry tools are an advantage
