The Opportunity

Experienced electricians are invited to explore opportunities across Queensland and Western Australia with an established Australian industrial services business. These roles cover maintenance, shutdowns and project-based electrical work across a range of industries and environments.

Opportunities are available for New Zealand-certified electricians with Australian working rights, as well as suitable candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in Australia. Options may include permanent relocation to Australia or FIFO work in Western Australia for ongoing shutdown projects.

Your verified electrical certification and practical experience will be considered when matching you with suitable projects and work environments.

Key Responsibilities

Complete electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and inspections across site facilities and equipment
Carry out electrical work in accordance with safety requirements, company procedures and relevant legislation
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and work instructions
Identify electrical faults and troubleshoot issues effectively
Perform testing, inspections and required electrical maintenance activities
Maintain accurate work records, documentation and compliance reports
Work closely with supervisors, tradespeople and other site personnel
Follow established safe work practices and contribute to workplace safety
Support continuous improvement of electrical processes and site operations
Adapt to maintenance, shutdown and project-based work environments

Requirements & Eligibility

Hold a recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification
Proven practical experience working as an electrician
Industrial, infrastructure or mining experience is essential
Strong understanding of electrical safety and workplace procedures
Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and complete maintenance tasks
Willingness to relocate to Australia or undertake FIFO work in Western Australia
Applicants must be eligible to obtain the relevant Australian electrical licensing or registration requirements
