Childcare Centre Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Centre Manager to lead a high-quality early childhood education service. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily centre operations, driving educational excellence, supporting and mentoring educators, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in creating a positive workplace culture, building strong relationships with families and the local community, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.

• Lead, mentor and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality early learning programs
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards against the National Quality Standard
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families and community stakeholders
• Manage enrolments, occupancy levels and overall centre sustainability
• Lead overall centre performance and operational outcomes
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and child-focused learning environment
• Implement Child Safe Standards and promote a strong child safety culture
• Support staff development, performance management and professional growth
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory requirements are met

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Previous leadership experience within an early childhood education setting
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Quality Standard
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality care and educational outcomes
• Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid certification and relevant clearances
• Current Child Safety and Child Protection Training
