A full-time, permanent position is available with an established electrical services business in New Zealand, working across commercial, infrastructure, streetlighting and other essential electrical projects.

You will be trusted to take responsibility for your work, maintain high standards and contribute to projects that support local communities and infrastructure.

• Complete commercial electrical installation, maintenance and repair work
• Work across infrastructure, construction and development projects
• Carry out streetlighting installation and maintenance
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and specifications
• Complete assigned electrical work independently and professionally
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all work meets required electrical standards and safety procedures
• Take responsibility for workmanship, productivity and project outcomes
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, colleagues and other project stakeholders
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles appropriately
• Work across different project environments as required
• Contribute positively to a professional and safety-focused team

• Current EWRB Electrical Registration
• Current New Zealand Practising Licence or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant commercial electrical experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience across electrical projects
• Ability to provide verifiable employment history and professional experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving ability
• Professional approach to quality and workmanship
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
