• Deliver professional hair cutting and styling services
• Perform colour services to a high professional standard
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and desired results
• Recommend suitable hairstyles, colours and hair-care products
• Build strong and lasting relationships with clients
• Manage and maintain a professional client column
• Deliver consistently high-quality customer experiences
• Maintain excellent salon presentation and hygiene standards
• Work collaboratively with other stylists and salon team members
• Contribute positively to the salon’s team culture
• Continue developing technical skills through ongoing education
• Stay up to date with current hairdressing techniques and trends
• Support client retention and encourage repeat business

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in hair cutting and colouring
• NZ Level 4 Hairdressing Certificate or internationally recognised equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant industry experience
• Strong practical knowledge of cutting and colouring techniques
• Professional client consultation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards
• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development
• Eligible for employer-sponsored employment in New Zealand
