Hairdresser Barber Beautician

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Hairdressers, Barbers, Beauty Therapists and multi-skilled Hair & Beauty Professionals to join established salon teams in New Zealand.

The roles are suited to passionate professionals who can deliver high-quality hair and beauty services while creating an excellent client experience. Candidates with strong technical skills, relevant qualifications and at least 2 years of hands-on industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Multiple opportunities are available across Auckland and Hamilton, New Zealand, with positions and working arrangements depending on experience and business requirements.

• Provide professional hairdressing and beauty services to clients
• Perform ladies’ and men’s cutting, styling, blow waves and hair-ups
• Carry out root touch-ups, global colours, foils, highlights and lowlights
• Perform balayage, ombré, toning and colour correction services
• Provide nanoplasty, Hair Botox, keratin and smoothing treatments
• Perform hair straightening, perming and other chemical services
• Provide barbering and men’s grooming services where applicable
• Perform threading, waxing, facials and professional beauty treatments
• Provide eyebrow and eyelash extensions and tinting where qualified
• Conduct professional client consultations and recommend suitable services
• Recommend appropriate treatments and home-care products
• Maintain high standards of salon hygiene, presentation and health and safety
• Build positive and lasting relationships with clients
• Deliver consistent, high-quality services and an excellent customer experience
• Work professionally and collaboratively as part of a salon team

• Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on professional experience preferred
• Relevant hairdressing, barbering, beauty therapy qualifications and/or proven professional salon experience
• Strong technical skills relevant to the position being applied for
• Confident with modern hair cutting, colouring, styling and treatment techniques where applicable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional, reliable and well presented
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
• Passion for the hair and beauty industry
• Commitment to delivering consistently high-quality services
• Ability to work with clients of all genders for hairdressing positions
• Current legal right to work in New Zealand or eligibility to obtain an appropriate work visa
