The opportunity

This Brisbane opening suits an accountant who has found their feet in public practice and wants to deepen their tax skills. The hiring firm is a progressive, well-regarded boutique practice on the city fringe, and the vacancy sits in its Tax & Business Services team at Junior or Intermediate level.

From a recruiter's point of view, the firm wants someone who can turn around compliance work accurately for a varied client list, communicate well and keep learning. It works on fixed fees, without timesheets or traditional targets, and judges success on quality, efficiency and client results. You would sit close to a Senior Manager for regular mentoring. Visa sponsorship opportunities are open to suitable candidates who need an employer to support their visa.
