QA Test Lead

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Consultant / Test Lead to join a leading technology consulting organisation delivering large-scale enterprise transformation projects across Wellington.

This role is ideal for a testing professional with extensive experience leading quality assurance for enterprise system implementations, including ERP, finance, payroll and procurement solutions. You will work closely with clients, project teams and business stakeholders to develop testing strategies, oversee end-to-end testing activities, and ensure successful project delivery.

• Lead testing strategy and delivery across enterprise transformation projects
• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans and quality assurance processes
• Manage end-to-end testing activities from planning through to project go-live
• Coordinate testing schedules, defect management and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, project teams and business stakeholders
• Provide expert guidance on testing best practices and quality engineering
• Monitor testing progress and ensure project quality objectives are achieved
• Identify project risks and implement practical testing solutions
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies and delivery practices
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organisation
• Communicate technical testing outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Minimum 3 years' experience in formal software testing with experience in test planning
• Extensive experience leading testing for enterprise system implementations and transformation programmes
• Strong knowledge of ERP, finance, payroll or procurement system implementations
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans and defect management processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with modern software delivery methodologies
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Software Testing or a related discipline is desirable
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, ERP platforms, procurement or finance systems is highly regarded
• Exposure to Workday HCM implementations or enterprise HR systems is advantageous
• Experience working with AI tools or AI-enabled testing practices is desirable
• Previous consulting or professional services experience is advantageous
• Ability to lead multiple projects in fast-paced environments
