• Mix, knead, divide and shape doughs to recipe and production timings
• Track proofing, oven temperature and bake length to keep results consistent
• Produce and present bread, rolls, buns and savoury lines to a high standard
• Support apprentices and bakery assistants with their training and development
• Keep the bakery spotless and safe, following food and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with stock control and ordering ingredients, limit waste, liaise with the bakery manager and team on daily production and help customers when asked

• Trade qualification in baking that is recognised
• At least two years of relevant commercial baking behind you
• Strong practical grounding in bread and yeast-based bakery production, with real commitment to product quality, food safety and cleanliness
• Good communication skills and a cooperative style, plus the ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
• Availability for early morning starts, weekends and public holidays as rostered
