Senior Hairdresser/ Senior stylist

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join a growing and professional salon team in Victoria, Australia.

This role is ideal for a confident stylist who is passionate about the hair industry, takes pride in delivering high-quality results and enjoys creating an exceptional client experience. You will work alongside an experienced team in a busy salon environment with an established and growing clientele.

The position offers opportunities to develop your skills, build your professional career and expand your expertise in hair extensions. Previous hair extension experience is highly regarded but is not essential for the right senior stylist.

• Provide professional hair styling services to clients
• Perform cutting, colouring, styling and other senior-level salon services
• Consult with clients to understand their individual hair requirements and preferences
• Deliver high-quality results while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Build strong and professional relationships with clients
• Provide advice on hair care, styling and suitable treatments
• Maintain high standards of customer service and client satisfaction
• Work collaboratively with other salon team members
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional salon environment
• Follow salon procedures and professional hairdressing standards
• Keep up to date with current hair trends, techniques and industry developments
• Participate in ongoing learning and skills development
• Provide hair extension services where trained and experienced
• Support the growth of the salon's clientele through professional service and client care

• Relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised industry training
• Proven experience working as a Senior Hair Stylist or in a similar senior salon role
• Strong practical skills across professional hairdressing services
• Confident communication and client consultation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Passion for the hair and beauty industry
• Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of an experienced salon team
• Strong understanding of salon hygiene and professional standards
• Ability to manage appointments and client requirements efficiently
• Willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills
• Hair extension experience is highly advantageous but not essential
• Reliable, motivated and committed to delivering an excellent client experience
