Senior Project Engineer (Civil, FRP)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (FRP) to join a leading civil and structural construction company in Victoria. This full-time permanent opportunity offers the chance to work on major infrastructure and commercial projects while leading the delivery of Form, Reo, and Pour (FRP) works.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting project delivery from planning through to completion.

• Coordinate and oversee Form, Reo, and Pour (FRP) works across civil and structural construction projects
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and delays
• Implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules
• Liaise with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Support project procurement, budgeting, and cost tracking activities
• Prepare project progress reports and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, workplace safety, and environmental standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
• Coordinate concrete works, reinforcement installation, formwork systems, and pour sequencing
• Promote continuous improvement across project delivery and site operations
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders

• Minimum 6–8 years' experience delivering Form, Reo, and Pour (FRP) projects
• Previous experience in civil, structural, or commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methodologies
• Experience with formwork systems, reinforcement detailing, and concrete pour sequencing
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities
• Strong project planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
• Commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
