Store Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead a high-performing retail store in the Auckland region. This full-time position offers the chance to oversee daily store operations, drive sales performance, manage inventory, and lead a motivated team within a customer-focused retail environment.

The successful candidate will be a confident leader with strong commercial awareness and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will play a key role in developing team capability, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting the ongoing growth and success of the business.

This role requires a hands-on management style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop team members while maintaining high standards across all aspects of store operations

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
• Drive store sales performance and achieve business targets
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability
• Monitor stock accuracy and maintain effective inventory controls
• Lead, motivate, coach, and support team members
• Develop employee product knowledge and sales capability
• Conduct staff training and assist with onboarding activities
• Support recruitment and workforce planning when required
• Undertake employee performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and product developments
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional store environment
• Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and after-sales support
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Prepare reports and support business improvement initiatives

• Previous experience in a management or leadership role
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Experience managing sales targets and store performance
• Knowledge of inventory control and stock management processes
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
• Knowledge of vaping products and the vaping industry is essential
• Positive attitude with a proactive and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work full-time Tuesday to Saturday
