Team Leader

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) to take the next step into a Team Leader – Residential Aged Care position.

Based in Victoria, Australia, this role involves leading and coordinating the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive residential aged care environment. You will work closely with clinical leaders and care teams to ensure residents receive safe, respectful and individualised support that reflects their needs, preferences and goals.

• Provide high-quality, holistic and person-centred care to residents
• Provide social and emotional support while promoting dignity, respect and independence
• Lead and supervise care staff during designated shifts or within allocated areas
• Support the coordination of residents’ daily and ongoing care requirements
• Assist with medication management in accordance with professional scope of practice and relevant legislation
• Support resident nutrition and hydration requirements
• Assist with pressure care management and other clinical care needs
• Work closely with clinical leadership and nursing teams to maintain high standards of care
• Ensure individual resident needs, wishes and goals are considered in care delivery
• Perform medication-related tasks in accordance with qualifications, legislation and workplace procedures
• Support effective communication and teamwork across the care environment
• Maintain a safe workplace and follow infection prevention and control requirements
• Use relevant workplace technology and information systems as required

• Diploma of Enrolled Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with AHPRA as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
• Authorisation to administer medication within the relevant professional scope of practice
• NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Current National Police Check
• Strong commitment to integrity, honesty, professionalism and trustworthy care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Working knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Working knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
• Ability to use workplace technology and learn new systems and programs
• Commitment to delivering respectful, compassionate and high-quality care
• Previous experience in residential aged care or a similar care environment will be highly regarded
