Truck Drivers

A leading New Zealand transport and food production business is seeking experienced Class 4 and Class 5 Truck Drivers to join its growing operations in the Lower North Island. Multiple permanent opportunities are available for both delivery drivers and stock truck drivers. • Safely operate Class 4 and Class 5 heavy vehicles
• Transport freight or livestock in accordance with company procedures
• Load and unload goods where required
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Complete transport documentation, logbooks, and delivery records accurately
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand transport legislation and health and safety requirements
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Follow animal welfare and biosecurity requirements when transporting livestock
• Work closely with dispatch, customers, farmers, and operational staff
• Maintain clean and well-presented vehicles and equipment
• Assist with general yard or operational duties when required
• Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet operational needs

• Current Class 4 or Class 5 driver's licence or overseas equivalent transferable to New Zealand
• Minimum 12 months of heavy vehicle driving experience
• Strong commitment to safe driving and workplace health and safety
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Flexible to work varying hours when required
• Forklift licence with OSH endorsement is advantageous
• Experience transporting refrigerated freight is beneficial for delivery driver roles
• Previous livestock transport experience is advantageous for stock truck driver roles
• Ability to successfully complete medical, drug and alcohol, licence, police, and reference checks where required
