The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join a growing insulation products operation in Auckland, New Zealand. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, coordinating incoming and outgoing stock, managing customer orders, and leading a warehouse team to deliver reliable service.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory, strong health and safety standards, and a positive team environment. You will play an important role in improving productivity, customer service, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational and customer service targets
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities and ensure company procedures and processes are followed
  • Coordinate incoming shipments from overseas suppliers and internal stock transfers
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Plan and coordinate customer deliveries and collection requirements
  • Maintain accurate stock records and coordinate regular cycle counts
  • Ensure correct stock rotation, safe storage, and efficient handling of products
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
  • Monitor warehouse productivity, efficiency, and customer service performance
  • Support workforce planning and arrange temporary labour when required
  • Assist with vehicle and equipment servicing, certifications, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure company vehicles, machinery, equipment, and property are maintained in safe operating condition
  • Support health and safety procedures for employees, contractors, customers, and visitors
  • Assist with maintaining required warehouse and facility certifications
  • Coordinate the efficient processing of incoming containers and stock
  • Ensure warehouse inventory systems and databases remain accurate and up to date
  • Monitor and support DIFOT performance and timely customer order fulfilment
  • Complete operational paperwork, timesheets, compliance documentation, and reports accurately
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and operational processes
  • Implement practical improvements that enhance customer experience and service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the wider operations team to support business growth
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and team-focused workplace culture
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operational and staffing requirements

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Previous experience in warehouse supervision, warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, or a related environment
  • Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a warehouse team
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures
  • Experience coordinating deliveries, collections, and customer orders
  • Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices
  • Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on warehouse environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet operational deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping
  • Ability to use warehouse management systems, inventory databases, and standard office software
  • Experience with warehouse vehicles, equipment, or operational compliance is advantageous
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn and undertake further training and development
  • Ability to work independently while supporting wider operational goals
